PokerStars is excited to bring you the 3rd annual World Cup of Poker (WCP). Once again, it is time for PokerStars players worldwide to come together and play poker to decide which country is king for 2006. Represent your country and play for $200,000 in cash prizes, a free trip to play on TV in the finals, and of course an entire year's worth of bragging rights. The first step is to qualify for your state's WCP team. All you need is 50 Frequent Player Points to enter and you could be representing the United States in the 2006 World Cup of Poker. State qualifiers get underway Saturday, April 1. Registration will open two hours prior to the start of the tournament.
